In just a few short months since Vantage at 7th and Grant started rising out of the ground, the project reached a new milestone: topping out at eight stories. This project will feature 176 apartment homes and adds much needed density to this part of Capitol Hill.
First, let’s take a look at the recently topped out building from the corner of East 7th Avenue and Grant Street. It’s not everyday we see a residential project built with conventional steel however, the open structure is a neat sight to see. In addition to the structure topping out, exterior insulation is starting to go up on the north side.
Here are two additional views of the project from along Grant Street. The height of the new building nearly matches its office building next door neighbor.
Now that the steel work is mostly complete, we should start to see the brick and glass facade go up in the coming months.
Zzzzzz
Can’t impress the proletariat.
